Boy, 15, stabbed on a bus on Wandsworth Bridge Road

Police have issued an appeal for information after a teenager was stabbed on a bus in Wandsworth.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Wandsworth Bridge Road at 4.49pm last Wednesday (January 18) after a member of the public alerted them to the incident.

A 15-year-old boy was treated for stab wounds at the scene before being taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.

Another 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Wandsworth Police today (Monday, January 23) issued an appeal to members of the public with information on the incident to call 101, quoting reference CAD 4817/18Jan.

A spokesperson for Wandsworth Police said: "We were called at 16:49hrs on 18/01 to Wandsworth Bridge Road after a member of the public reported that a male had been stabbed on a bus. Officers responded with the London Ambulance Service. 1/2

"They found a 15yr old with a stab injury and treated him at the scene before being taken to hospital; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening. Another 15yr old was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent."
