The Battersea Park and Nine Elms Police team will join forces up and down the country this week to celebrate the national Neighbourhood policing week of action.

Organised by the College of Policing and National police chiefs' council (NPCC), the week of action is a chance to celebrate the work that local, community and neighbourhood police teams do to protect the public.

In Battersea, residents are invited to attend a number of events neighbourhood police officers will host between today (Monday, January 23) and Friday.

Writing on Twitter, Battersea Park and Nine Elms Police also reiterated a warm invitation for residents who see them during patrols around town to "come and say hello".
