Two men arrested for aggravated burglary
On Wednesday December 1 two men, 34 and 53 were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in Wandsworth and remain in custody in South London.
Omicron variant detected in Wandsworth
On Monday November 29 the new variant of coronavirus, omicron, was detected in Wandsworth.
The total number of cases in the UK is now at 42 and while the figure is still relatively low there are concerns about it rising.
Battersea police warned earlier this week of a new fraud scam
Latchmere Police wrote on Twitter that the scammer impersonates police and targets elderly and vulnerable people locally.
People have been urged to look out for friends or family that might fall victim to it and report anything suspicious immediately.
Battersea residents to have their say in a £400k revamp of local park
Harroway Gardens is due a renovation and a public consultation is now underway to decide how over £428,000 should be spent.
Residents have been asked to look at the tree options and see which they would like best.
The consultation will take pace Thursday January 6.
