Traffic news and road works in Battersea this week

A number of roadworks taking place this week could impact your routes through Battersea.

Read on to find out what areas in Battersea and neighbouring parts of Wandsworth will be affected.

Essential road works

Albert Bridge Road Multi-way temporary traffic signals will be placed at the side of number 2 – 75 for Thames Water utility works, estimated date of completion 10/02/2023. Contact: Thames Water, 0800 316 9800.

Strathblaine Road Two-way temporary traffic signals will be placed opposite number 48 Vardens Road for T-Mobile utility works, estimated date of completion 27/01/2023. Contact: P Traffic, 01133470074.

Kathleen Road Road will be closed outside number 178 Lavender Hill for Southern Gas Network utility works, commencing 16/01/2023 - 23/01/2023. Contact: Southern Gas Network, 02394 281 202

Northcote Road Multi-way temporary traffic signals will be placed outside 152a for Power on Connections utility works, estimated date of completion 25/01/2023. Contact: Luke Kolsek, 0797 6550705

Old Devonshire Road Will be closed from the side of number 47 Balham High Road for Southern Gas Network utility works, estimated date of completion - 29/01/2023. Contact: Southern Gas Network, 02394281202

Wandsworth Roundabout SW18 Carriageway resurfacing, and reconstruction works on behalf of TFL. There will be lane restrictions throughout the works and nightwork closures that will affect the following roads, Swandon Way, Wandsworth Bridge, Bridgend Road, York Road, and Trinity Road. Albert Bridge SW11 Will be closed from the junction of Anhalt Road to the junction of Chelsea Embankment (A3212) for a crane operation taking place 05/02/23 from 04:00 to 21:00, Contact: Enable 0203 959 0011.
