Detectives have released an e-fit image of a man following a series of indecent exposure offences in south west London.

Police were contacted about the offences, which all took place around Chelsea on Saturday, January 21, and involved a man who approached lone women on his bicycle and masturbated in front of them.

The first victim, a woman in her 30s, was walking down Eccleston Square in Pimlico at around 1pm when she heard a man behind her say "excuse me".

When she turned around, she saw the suspect standing next to a bike, exposing himself and masturbating in her direction.

At around 10:40pm, two women aged in their 20s called police to report a man masturbating in public on Fulham Road in Chelsea. When one of the women said she would be contacting police, the suspect made off on a bike.

Around ten minutes later, a woman in her thirties was walking down Elystan Street in Chelsea when a man cycled towards her with his hand in his pocket. When she looked back, she could see he was masturbating.

Police have now released an e-fit image of the man they wish to speak to in connection with the offences and asked anyone with information to contact them.

Detective Constable Gabrielle James, from Central West CID, said: "These are extremely serious crimes which have understandably had a significant impact on the women involved. We are very grateful that they came forward and reported these offences to so we can use all the resources at our disposal to identify and arrest the man involved.

"We worked quickly to identify this as a linked series and we are now urging anyone who believes they may recognise the man in this image or who has been subject to a similar offence to contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 with reference 7110/21JAN23
