Northcote Road are welcoming another new addition to the high street, with colourful, tropical bowls soon to land in Battersea.

Island Poké was founded by James Porter who spent his childhood summers between the beaches of California and Hawaii.

Porter spotted a gap in the market in London and started selling fresh, healthy options, packed with flavours at a street food market.

Word was soon out though and Island Poké was born with the first shop opening in Soho in 2016.

Island Poké has grown in popularity since then and has shops across London (15 to be exact).

The popular lunch spot caters for everyone, including a vegan poké, which was the first developed in Europe.

With climate change (hopefully) being at the forefront of everyone's mind, it is encouraging to know that this latest addition to Northcote Road puts sustainability at the heart of what they do.

There is no exact date for the opening of Island Poké, but be sure to vote on their Instagram page that Northcote Road, is most definitely Battersea.
