Battersea: Mega-Skip Day this Saturday

Battersea residents are invited to dispose of their rubbish for free this Saturday.
Mega Skip day is back this Saturday February 26 due to popular demand from 09:00-12:00.
Normally there is a fee incurred when disposing of bulky waste but this Saturday the council is inviting residents to bring anything, for free, to one of the mega skips placed at nine locations across the borough.
Each household is allowed to bring a maximum of six items to the Mega Skip, this is to ensure that everyone has a chance to make use of the skips.
One bag of rubbish counts as one item, so does one sofa, one mattress etc.
The Mega Skip is open to residents of the London Borough of Wandsworth only and they will be asked to present ID to confirm their residency, this can be a driving licence, passport or a utility bill.
On Wandsworth Council's website they have said they can only accept certain items.
