The Nine Elms advent calendar is back for its third year in a row.

The Nine Elms Giant Advent Calendar Art Trail will run from Wednesday December 1 to Wednesday January 5 2022.

The theme for this year's trail is Peace on Earth.

The trial is open to everyone and will allow visitors to explore Nine Elms and discover the art installations in the countdown to Christmas.

Local businesses will be involved as featured venues and window hosts.

Locals are in for a treat as the the advent calendar was featured in Time Out's top 10 things to do at Christmas.

Local schools have been getting involved including St. George's year six students who are busy working on their feature for the trail.

There will be a total of 24 installations across 24 venues.
