Do something good this weekend while getting outside with some litter picking in Battersea.

Connected Planet Foundation has organised their first community event of the year this Saturday January, 22.

The group will be heading to Wandsworth for a community litter picking and plogging event.

The event welcomes people of all ages and abilities with a walking group covering about 2km and a running group covering 5km.

The event is family-friendly and asks that anyone under the age of 16 attends with a responsible adult.

All litter picking equipment will be provided and there will be precautions in place to ensure it is a covid safe event.

The event will start at Arc John Archer School, Plough Terrace in Battersea at 13:30.
