Dispersal zone implemented due to anti-social behaviour on St Johns Hill

Wandsworth Police took to Twitter yesterday (Tuesday January, 18) to inform followers of the implementation of a dispersal zone on St Johns Hill.

Due to large gatherings of school children causing anti-social behaviour outside McDonalds on St Johns Hill.

The dispersal zone has been authorised under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014.

The zone will be affect until 15:30 today (Wednesday January, 19).

The dispersal zone covers a 200 meter radius (pictured) from McDonalds.

Whilst a dispersal zone is in effect, it is an offence to:

- Fail to comply with a direction given by a police officer or PCSO to disperse from the area

- Fail to surrender items likely to cause anti-social behaviour, on request of a police officer or PCSO

- Return within a specified period after being directed to disperse from the area.

If you witness Anti-social behaviour, report it to police by either:

- Reporting it online here.
