Battersea Park fireworks return after two years
Battersea Park fireworks are back this year, bigger and better than ever, with a two-night extravaganza taking place this weekend.
On November 6 and 7 a colourful display will light up the sky above the park.
Saturday will be a classic celebration of Guy Fawkes night with a bonfire starting at 7.30pm and the fireworks kicking off at 8:00pm.
Sunday night is a family friendly affair starting one hour earlier at 6.30pm and with a new light installation replacing the bonfire.
Battersea Nub News spoke to a representative from Wandsworth Council who assured us that residents in the area will be able to get to their homes using vehicles if they have a proof of address them.
All road closures will be pedestrianised.
There may be some delays if the crowds are large but there will be staff on hand to help with crowd control and traffic flow.
This year's show will be delivered by Titanium Pyrotechnics, the creative minds behind Mayor of London New Year's Eve celebration and Edinburgh's Hogmanay both in 2020.
