Thursday, June 1: Aperol Spritz Aperidisco
Aperol – the iconic Italian Aperitivo – is bringing back the sun-soaked, early evening sounds of effortlessly cool Italo-Disco to Battersea Power Station, with something for everyone (over 18!) to enjoy this summer.
From 1st – 14th June, the Aperol Spritz® Aperidisco will be popping up for the ultimate free Italian disco underneath Battersea's iconic chimneys.
Swapping the Italian riviera for the banks of the river Thames and serving up sunshine, Aperol Spritz, and memorable DJ sets, the Aperol Spritz Aperidisco is open every day from 12-10pm, giving Londoners a reason to say salute! to the summer and enjoy an impromptu Aperol Spritz with friends.
Step into a vibrant disco-inspired venue, where incredible music, delectable bites, and unforgettable experiences await. From invigorating Disco Yoga sessions to mesmerising make-up transformations, Aperol Spritz masterclasses, entertaining quizzes, and exciting Italian tombolas, there's no shortage of entertainment. Friday, June 2: Breitling top time classic cars pop up garage
Luxury Swiss watchmaker Breitling has revealed a conceptual installation in Battersea Power Station's Turbine Hall B to celebrate the launch of its new Top Time classic cars collection.
Discover the Top Time Classic Cars collection, styled after the Ford Mustang and Thunderbird, Chevrolet Corvette, and Shelby Cobra. Indulge in lounge areas, arcade games, a photobooth and other surprises. Perfect for a pit stop, bring your crew and join Breitling at the Top Time pop-up garage.
Saturday, June 3: Reach Up Disco Wonderland
DJ Andy Smith (ex-Portishead) & Nick Halkes (aka Nick Reach Up) drop 80s disco, boogie and proto house til 2am!
Childhood mates DJ Andy Smith (ex-Portishead) and Nick Halkes (aka Nick Reach Up) drop 80s disco, boogie and proto house, evoking the spirit of legendary NYC clubs such as Paradise Garage and Studio 54!
They'll dip into the rich soundtrack that emerged as the 70s turned into the 80s forming the DNA of today's club music and mesh the set with the freshest productions, remixes and re-edits that they can find!
Sunday, June 4: Whistler while you walk
A walk around the riverside neighbourhood of Chelsea and Battersea…following the footsteps of painter and printmaker James McNeill Whistler. Approx 1.5 hours. Meet at Whistlers Statue, adjacent to the north west side of Battersea Bridge at the junction of Chelsea Embankment.
