Battersea Arts Centre is the perfect place to fill a cold and rainy afternoon.

Why not pop in this half term week and next to enjoy some comedy, dance and science.

Duckie

This is a take on the classic The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen.

Its message is one of tolerance and self acceptance.

Set in an animal circus the audience gets to join Duckie on an adventure of self discovery, asking questions of the 'happy ever after' in celebration of difference.

Critics Choice, The Reviews hub called it 'a reinvention of family theatre, five stars'.

Duckie is on stage February 15-19.

You can purchase tickets here.

Work the Runway

This is a catwalk extravaganza for families.

Bringing the glamour, glitz and grace in this fabulous celebration of self-expression.

A show filled with dance fashion and lip sync competition, this is an interactive event where the audience decides the winner.

Work the Runway is on stage February 17-18

You can purchase tickets here.

Uncanny Valley

This is one for the science fans out there.

What is human? What is machine? 'Uncanny Valley' explores the unease we feel when we see something that looks almost real.

Author Thomas Melle sits on stage in this Rimini Protocol Company's UK premiere.

Uncanny Valley is on stage February 22-26

You can purchase tickets here.
