Vauxhall City Farm has opened a new bar for visitors for a unique drinking experience.

The new bar, Faith's Place, launched last Thursday May 12, and will be open every Thursday-Saturday evening 18:00-23:00.

The ambience of the farm can be enjoyed at night with a glass of wine or craft beer, including Urban Animals, a Brixton Brewery exclusive made using hops grown at the farm itself.

Revellers can enjoy a beverage in the recently refurbished Community Garden or in the company of the farm's ducks on the cafe terrace.

Next Thursday (May 26) visitors can enjoy a drink during a sheep shearing demonstration at 17:30.

Monica Tyler, Chief Executive of Vauxhall City Farm said: "As a small, independent charity we are always looking for new ways to reach our local community. We are thrilled to offer something new and original to Vauxhall and its residents, and excited for what the future brings for Faith's Place and evenings at VCF."

The bar is named after Faith Boardman, chairman of VCF since 2006.

She has been a champion of local communities throughout her career and has been instrumental to the success of the farm.

So head to the green haven this weekend and enjoy a beverage amongst the animals.
