The Affordable Art Fair announces stellar list of exhibitors for Battersea event

The return of the Affordable Art Fair to Battersea Park is fast approaching with a stellar list of exhibiting galleries.
Thousands of artworks in all styles, genres and mediums will be on display as more than 100 galleries from around the world exhibit at the event.
Here is just a handful of top galleries bringing the best, most exciting contemporary artwork to the Battersea fair.
Portal Painters | London, UK
A West London gallery that has been exhibiting finely detailed figurative paintings for over fifty years. In Mayfair's Grafton Street, its founders championed "the figurative and the quirky in painting" and the gallery became known for its unpretentious attitude and special group of painters, including Beryl Cook whose humorous seaside paintings found homes in collections all over the world, including Jackie Collins and Yoko Ono.
The Tolman Collection | Tokyo, Japan
Often referred to as the "oldest gaijin-operated art gallery" in Japan, this Tokyo gallery only buys art from the people who make it, many of which are exclusive editions of which the gallery buys all the copies.
Woolff Gallery | London, UK
Established by Nick Woolff in 2000 to "make the art-buying process as simple and enjoyable for you as possible", this London based gallery is the place to get your hands on a piece by LoveJordan - the collaborative work of artists Jonny Love and Samuel Jordan that has become instantly recognisable for their series of multicoloured bottles.
Woolff Gallery is also home to Patrick Boyd, whose colourful scenes are laced with humour and often present a light-hearted take on current affairs such as 'Panic buying' which illustrates a couple wheeling a shopping trolley full of loo roll across the globe. Others celebrate historical moments such as the Moon Landing (pictured).
Studio 84 West | Ojai, USA
Established in 1987, Studio 84 West represents artists from around the United States, continually updating a portfolio of 15 to 20 fine artists who work in a variety of mediums, including paper, canvas and 3-dimensional.
Signet | London, UK
Occupying a space in Chelsea, Kings Road, Signet Contemporary Art specialises in British and International contemporary painting. The gallery caters for both established and new collectors working in a wide variety of styles and genres, ranging from the semi-abstract to the impressionist, including Robert E Wells RBA, Garry Raymond-Pereira, David Poxon RI & John D Martin RBA are just to name a few.
NewingerART | London, UK & Sóller, Mallorca
NewingerART is a London and Sóller (Mallorca) based art gallery specialising in contemporary art from selected artists around the world. Established in 2020, the gallery represents emerging as well as established artists working with diverse materials ranging from ceramic to oil paintings, photography and collage art, to demonstrate the open-ended possibilities of medium diversity.
Among the innovative and contemporary artists from Majorca the gallery exhibits are Núria Forteza, Ramon Suau, Caspar Jansen, Francesc Roca and Tomeu Coll.
The Drugstore Gallery | Axbridge, UK
Nestled in Somerset's Mendip Hills in the medieval town of Axbridge is the Drugstore Gallery. What was once a pharmacy in a C15th Tudor Townhouse, is now a home, gallery space, art studio & enchanting garden.
The Drugstore Gallery is where to find work by Benjamin Buckley (focused on the construction of imaginary worlds), Virginia Bridge (concerned with the human experience of geometric form, material and surface), and Barry Cawston, pictured, whose project A Day trip to Banksy's Dismaland and Weston-super-Mare culminated in high profile exhibitions, published books and touring museum shows.
Gallery Millcreek | Hannah Korea, South Korea
Gallery Millcreek is a contemporary art gallery at the Hanam new town, Gyeonggido, focusing on art consulting with various exhibition planning and upcoming artist support.
First Contemporary | Bristol, UK
Run by owner Andrew Hood, First Contemporary specialises in showing the up-and-coming stars of the future, artists with a strong sense of individuality, exhibiting them alongside more established names.
The work of their artists is of the highest quality, at an affordable price and complements contemporary living. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable about art and travels regularly, always on the look-out for new artists to represent.
