A sustainable clothing brand beloved, not least, for its artisan beaded dog collars is preparing to open a new shop in Battersea.

Aspiga has settled on Northcote Road as the place to permanently build on the huge success of its pop up store now closed on the King's Road.

Founded by Lucy Macnamara in 2006, Aspiga has in its nearly two decades of trading remained staunch in its commitment to sustainable and ethical fashion practices.

A product range that began as handcrafted belts and sandals made in Kenya were at first sold to boutiques and department stores around Europe.

Such was the popularity of its beautiful, hand-made accessories, Aspiga was soon producing a wide range of sustainable clothing for women and men for sale in its own stores around the UK.

The addition of Aspiga Northcote Road to its footprint of eight stores in the UK marks the brand's first permanent location in London.

Replacing Joules at 84 Northcote Road, Aspiga will undoubtedly be a welcome addition when its doors fling open on the cusp of summer with dresses, beachwear and blouses to boot.
