A lifestyle café founded in South Africa will expand to the UK this year when it opens its first branch in Europe at Battersea Power Station.

On Prospect Way, tashas will introduce London to the ethos of simple, delicious all-day dining in stylish yet unpretentious settings.

It is a philosophy that has, from a loyal following garnered to the first branch of tashas, grown into a group of 21 restaurants - each location a little different to the next, but easy-going elegance enthused from all in equal measure.

Mastermind and namesake of tashas is Natasha Sideris, who has since opening the first café in Johannesburg in 2005, overseen an impressive expansion in both South Africa and beyond, to the UAE, which now boasts six tashas.

For 2023, a decision to bring tashas to the UK will be of best benefit to Londoners and Battersea residents.

With a large outdoor terrace at Battersea Power Station and a summer due date, tashas couldn't be coming to town at a better time.
