Last week Over Under Coffee announced the addition of a new coffee truck in Battersea to its popular collection across London.

Following a successful soft-launch, the OU team opened an Airstream food truck by the Grade ||* listed Battersea Power Station, continuing their west London takeover.

The iconic power station and surrounding area is being brought back to life as one of the most exciting and innovative mixed-use neighbourhoods in the world. Uniting people and creating a new thriving community where individuals can work, live, shop, eat, drink and enjoy. The Over Under team is thrilled to be part of this exciting new community, bringing great coffee and great energy to the area.

Over Under has seven existing sites across London, including Clapham, Gloucester Road, Ladbroke Grove, South Kensington, Wandsworth, West Brompton, and their original site in Earl's Court, which opened in 2017. Over Under delivers great coffee and exceptional service to ensure they fulfil their company mission: 'To have a positive impact on your day.'

The new Over Under truck has arrived on Electric Boulevard, a new pedestrianised high street next to the Grade II* listed Power Station, which will open its doors to the public this autumn. The truck will welcome its first customers on Tuesday 30th August and to celebrate the opening, the team will be running their renowned 'Free Coffee Week' promotion soon after the launch giving customers a coffee of their choice, completely free of charge!

Ed Barry, Founder and CEO at Over Under Coffee, commented:

"We're hugely excited about opening at Battersea Power Station. We love the development and the community focus, something which is close to our heart at Over Under. Our company mission is to have a positive impact on your day and we achieve this through our daily interactions with our team and our customers. We want to be the focal point of the local community for residents, businesses, and tourists visiting the area.

This is our eighth store in West London and our first Airstream, so it's been great working alongside the Battersea Power Station team to ensure it's a successful launch."

Sam Cotton, Head of Leasing at Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC), said: "We're thrilled to welcome independent coffee operator Over Under to Battersea Power Station this month on Electric Boulevard, London's newest pedestrianised high street.

"We know that residents, local businesses, and the wider community will welcome the new addition as they're always on the lookout for a great cup of coffee and friendly service. It's been great to work with the Over Under team and we wish them every success."

'Free Coffee Week' will take place at Over Under Coffee, Battersea Power Station, Circus Road, Nine Elms, London SW8 5BN. Dates will be revealed shortly.
