The London Fire Brigade are responding to a flooding at flats in Battersea.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters have been called to flooding affecting flats on Plough Road in Clapham Junction.

Flood water up to a depth of around 4 inches is affecting flats on the first and second floors of a three-storey building as a water pipe burst in the loft space.

Crews are currently carrying out salvage operations to recover items and minimise damage.

The fire brigade were called at 08.53 this morning.

Fire crews from Battersea, Wandsworth, Chelsea and Fulham fire stations are at the scene.
