The deadline to apply for a postal vote in the upcoming local elections has passed.

But if you are unable to attend your polling station in Battersea on May 5, there is still time to apply for a vote by proxy.

To nominate a person of your choice to vote on your behalf, simply download and complete the application form at Wandsworth Council's website.

Completed application forms can then be:

·      Returned as a scanned attachment to [email protected]

·      Sent by post

·      Delivered in person to the Customer Centre at the Town Hall

The address to return proxy vote applications by post is:  Electoral Services, Wandsworth Council

Proxy vote applications must reach the local authority by 5pm on Tuesday, April 26.
