This summer enjoy the, hopefully, good weather in Wandsworth's green spaces.

Wandsworth Council and Enable will be presenting a variety of summer events in the borough's park.

The good news is that most of the events are free too.

There will be pop-up food and bar

Over five weekends Battersea Park will host events.

Kick off the celebrations this June with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at the Big Lunch on June 6.

There will be space for a picnic plus live music in Battersea Park, Wandsworth Common, Tooting Common, Furzedown Rec and Coronation Gardens.

On June 18-19 Live at the Bandstand will showcase local music talent.

June 25-26 the circus will come to town with live performances and workshops.

July 2 is all about theatre performances and workshops from Let's All Dance. Putney School of Art and Design will be running painting, drawing and pottery workshops.

An Armed Forces Day will take place on July 3, plus the famous Battersea Park Dog which is free to enter and open to all.

The events will finish up In Battersea Park on July 9-10 on the Bowling Green with a screening of the Men and Women's Wimbledon Finals.

Silent disco yoga will return along with free fitness classes hosted by the Millennium Arena team and on July 10 the Spirit of Football will hold their traditional kick off from Battersea Park - home of the first ever official Football match in 1864.
