Under 30s in Battersea are invited to enjoy a free lunch and meet the candidates for local elections.

Taking place Tuesday April 5, 12:30-15:00, young adults in the local area are being encouraged to attend and discuss their concerns.

Aaron Barbour who works for Katherine Low Settlement (KLS) told Nub News: "It's vital we get local people involved in the political process, whatever their political persuasion or none."

KLS has organised Hustings in the past with the Battersea Society.

This is the perfect opportunity for young voters to find out if Wandsworth Council is fighting for the things that matter to them.

The Conservatives, Green Party, Labour and Liberal Democrats have all agreed to send a candidate

With changes to ward boundaries the event promises to help you find out which ward you live in as well as helping you to register to vote.

Taking place at Caius House in Battersea the event has been organised by Battersea Alliance, The Battersea Society, Caius House and Katherine Low Settlement.

KLS have put together some reassures for young people to have discussions before attending, these can be found here.

The event will take place at Caius House in Battersea, 2 Holman Road, SW11 3RL.

Katherine Low Settlement was set up in 1924 and is a charity at the heart of the community in Battersea campaigning for social change.
