A film crew has been spotted in Battersea Park this morning filming a new series for Disney+, UK Star.

The film crew is said to be filming a brand new original series, 'Culprits', starring Nathan Stewart-Jarrett.

Battersea Park is frequently used as the backdrop for films and TV shows.

Stewart-Jarrett could be spotted on the embankment between Chelsea and Albert Bridge alongside a large crew who had shut off part of the path for filming, diverting walkers onto the grass at midday.

The new series is said to be a dark and funny heist series by acclaimed British filmmaker and screenwriter J Blakeson (I Care A Lot, The Disappearance of Alice Creed).

The series is set in the aftermath of a heist and follows the crew who have gone their separate ways, but are being targeted by a killer.

Stewart-Jarrett is best known for his role as Curtis in E4's 'Misfits'.

He currently stars in the HBO Max drama/comedy series 'Generation', and can next be seen in Oscar-winner Jordan Peele's reboot of 'Candyman'.
