Battersea will be hosting a selection of events next week for the Together on Climate Change Festival 202.
The week long festival will run Monday 8-13 November and has been organised by Wandsworth Council as a part of its pledge to tackle climate change.
The festival will hopefully bring together a wide range of individuals and raise awareness of climate change issues.
Whilst a lot of the festival is being hosted online there are lots of events taking place in Battersea.
Monday November 8
Residents can enjoy #OurOtherMother illustration exhibition that will be opening at 7:30pm, led by Parents fo the future at Fresh Ground Café on Battersea Rise.
Our Other Mother is a family friendly exhibition of illustrations created by renowned children's books illustrators like Rebecca Cobb and Jim Field.
The exhibition will showcase work on the topic of Planet Earth, in the hope of sparking conversations.
This is a good opportunity for parents to listen to a talk, which will be held during the event, about dealing with climate anxiety.
If that doesn't sell you then the refreshments and free glass of wine might.
