Visitors to Battersea Park are being asked to remain cautious of toads in the park.

This is the first year that Enable Parks Wandsworth has had reports of sightings .

They were first informed of a sighting on March 8 but believe they could of been around before that.

Anyone who spots a toad has been asked to make a submission to Greenspace Information for Greater London here.

The roads in the park will remain open but people have been asked to exercise caution.

Temporary signage has been erected on the East Carriage Drive behind the Pear Tree Cafe.

In the Royal Borough of Richmond a small section of Church Road was closed March 7 and will remain closed until April 1 to allow for the annual migration of a toad population.
