Battersea MP visits local school to mark Women's History Month

Battersea MP Marsha de Cordova visited a local primary school today (Tuesday, February 28) to mark Women's History Month.

Ms Cordova said it was a delight to address pupils at Roche School during their school assembly where she spoke about the "amazing female trailblazers in Battersea who have played a big part in the cause of gender equality".

Her visit to the Battersea school comes ahead of International Women's Day next week and several events in the local community that will mark the annual event.

In a social media post, Ms Cordova said: "Was a delight to visit the Roche School and speak to an assembly of the whole school about Women's History Month and amazing female trailblazers in Battersea who have played a big part in the cause of gender equality."
