Battersea food sharing today

Waste not want not Battersea is holding a food sharing event today.

Food sharing will take place Wednesday December, 29 and Thursday December, 30 at 14:00-15:00 on both days at 9-10 Bramlands Close, SW11 2NT.

The local charity collects surplus food from nearby markets and redistributes it through the community and youth centres.

The events are open to anyone who would benefit from nutritious food and offers an opportunity to meet others in the local community.

Waste not want not Battersea are dedicated to ensuring that perfectly good and nutritious food does not go to waste and instead goes to people who need it.

They are dedicated to creating a respectful approach to food and a greater understanding of throw-away culture.

They promote sharing and supportive practices in the local community.

As well as building community cohesion and a sense of belonging through meaningful and rewarding dedication to healthy food and human relationships.
