A wine bar in Battersea has been featured in the latest pocket guide to London published by hipster publication Sausage Press.

Aspen & Meursault brought a wave of new life to Westbridge Road when it opened in 2021 in the long defunct building once home to The Stag.

Recipient of Time Out London's "Best new Bar" award and recognised in Gentleman's Journal's list of Best Wine Bars in London, it's of little surprise that those in the know continue to bestow accolades on the wine bar, deli and café.

This latest from Sausage Press marks Aspen & Meursault out as one of London's Finest Natural Wine Bars – no mean feat given the array of low intervention, natural and biodynamic wine offerings that have popped up across the city in recent years.

A type of wine some generations might still deem too 'hipster' to try – or as Sausage Press says, "wines you almost certainly won't see your parents drinking – Aspen & Meursault's owner, Sunny Hodge, aims to demystify natural wine and prove it as an obvious choice for oenophile's of all ages.

On social media yesterday where it can be found under the name Bar Aspen, Aspen & Meursault said: "So thrilled to be listed in @sausage.press "London's Finest" Natural Wine Issue! The guide contains a superstar lineup of natural wine bars, shops and restaurants in London, and if you haven't seen it yet, is defo worth a peek."
