Pancake Day is upon us once again this Tuesday March 1.

Originating in the Christian tradition, Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day), falls the day before Ash Wednesday.

It is a feast day before the traditional fasting over the Lent period prior to Easter.

Over the years though it has become a day for pancakes whether you're religious or not.

So we've lined up the best places to get your sweet treats this Pancake Day.

Suzette

If you want a traditional crepe, whether sweet of savoury, Suzette have you covered.

This is a popular pancake haven with the locals with a small staff and humble setting right on Battersea Square.

If you're looking for stacks of American pancakes then look no further.

The Breakfast Club is a very popular British, European and Tex-Mex restaurant situated on Battersea Rise.

They over three types of pancakes: pancakes with berries, blueberry pancakes and bacon or their locally famous bacon, egg and cheese mclovin'.

For a take on the traditional crepe this Pancake Day why don't you try out Kova's infamous matcha whole mille crêpes?

Made from layers of French crêpes piled with a custard cream filling they are sure to hit the sweet spot.

This Japanese patisserie was the first official retailer of Battersea Power Station when it opened in November 2021.
