As the weather gets colder there is no better way to spend an afternoon than in the cinema.

Luckily for Battersea residents The Cinema in the Arches offers a luxurious experience for adults and children, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Each screen is filled with comfortable, reclining seats accompanied by individual tables, designed to be the perfect size for a bottle of wine or cocktail, homemade popcorn and sweet treats.

So as the days get darker why not get lost in the world of cinema?

The French Dispatch

Wes Anderson is back with a star studded love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional twentieth century French city that brings to life a collection of stories published in "The French Dispatch Magazine".

Robbie Collin, Daily Telegraph gave it five stars and said: "Anderson's extraordinary 10th feature, which premiered at the festival earlier this evening, is the cinematic equivalent of a brakeless freewheel through a teeming bazaar…"

Last Night in Soho

Halloween may be over but that doesn't mean scary season needs to end, catch Edgar Wright's murder mystery for a thrilling immersion.

An aspiring fashion designer is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer. But everything is not as it seems and the past begins to splinter and crack, revealing something darker and more sinister.

Philip De Semlyen from Time Out gave it four stars and said: "It all makes for an immersive evocation of time and place, and a more sober, if still stylish, filmmaking flex from Wright."

Dune

This star studded blockbuster has received rave reviews and is sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, only those who can conquer their own fear will survive.

Xan Brooks from the Guardian gave it five stars and said: "Dune reminds us what a Hollywood blockbuster can be."
