Wandsworth Council is reminding residents to dispose of their festive decorations, wrappings and trees responsibly this Christmas.

Trees will be collected by the council free of charge January 4-14.

The rowing Santa who wants to cure cancer or die trying

Iain Ward is working hard to raise money for four major cancer charities across the globe.

He was spotted earlier this week rowing in a Santa suit at Battersea Power Station.

The six year old London Underground superman

Lewis Wing was able to complete his tour of all the tube stations in London by visiting the new Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms station.

He hopes to have beaten the world record for youngest person to complete the mission.

Three abandoned pups find a forever home

Abbie, Josie and Basil, who are all just four months old, were found in wandering the streets of London in appalling conditions by rescuers back in October.

They have since all been adopted and were in loving homes before Christmas.
