Did you know there is art hidden in plain sight around Battersea?
We've rounded up where to spot some exciting sculptures and art work in the local area.
St Johns Hill estate sculptures
Head towards Clapham Junction for some award winning brick relief sculptures.
Artists Rodney Harris and Valda Jackson designed the sculptures with architects Hawkins/Brown, residents and the local community.
There are four sculptures in total and they represent the memories and history of the estate.
In 2017 they were awarded the Marsh Award for Excellence in Public Sculpture by The Public Monuments and Sculpture Association.
A Single Form
While it would be difficult to miss the huge 10ft sculpture in the park, sometimes we forget to take in our surroundings.
A Single Form is a bronze sculpture which is a copy of a piece by the artist Barbara Hepworth.
The original piece is displayed in United Nations Secretariat Building in New York.
The sculpture is a memorial piece dedicated to her friend and UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld after his death in an air crash in Africa in 1961.
The sculpture has been in place since 1963, and was given Grade II status in 2016.
Three standing figures
Also located within Battersea Park is Henry Moore's sculpture of three standing figures.
It is a large stone structure made in 1947-48, it was donated to the council and has been in Battersea Park since 1950.
Moore's reputation grew dramatically from 1948, when he was a selected as Britain's greatest living artist for the 24th Venice Biennale and won the sculpture prize.
The sculpture can be found on the north western side of the lake.
It was given Grade II status in 1988.
