Wandsworth Oasis are hiring full time shop managers and part time supervisors.

This charity shop has stores across Wandsworth borough including Tooting, Battersea, Balham Earlsfield, Putney, Clapham and Furzedown.

The position of shop manager would earn £21,000 per annum with responsibilities including working with the senior management team, with local residents and running the shop day to day.

This local charity raises money for people living with HIV and is the perfect opportunity to give back to an important cause.

Since its foundation in 1989, Wandsworth Oasis has provided support for those living with HIV as well as challenging the stigma towards it.

Using revenue generated by nine charity shops located across South London, as well as fundraiser events, they have given over £1 million in grants to HIV-related projects and organisations during the last ten years alone.

Wandsworth Oasis says: "Unlike most other charity shops, where the income generated in the retail shops is unrestricted funding for the parent charity, Wandsworth Oasis operates more like a Trust or Foundation.

"Money raised in the shops, from Challenges and our quirky events programme – after operational costs and reserves – is distributed via a grants scheme to other charities who work directly with vulnerable people affected by HIV and or who undertake HIV prevention and awareness raising work."
