A brand new pottery studio has opened just off Battersea Park.

muni pottery studio is located within the Old Imperial Laundry and invites visitors to get away from the world and reconnect with themselves.

Pottery is often recommended to people who struggle with stress or anxiety as working with your hands can allow you to focus on something else while also enjoying satisfaction through the creation process.

Now resident's of Battersea don't have to travel far to try it out for themselves.

muni is founded and directed by Almudena Navarro and Antonia Guerra

The studio was specifically designed by architects and is flooded with lots of natural light.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced potter there are lots of classes on offer.

Classes start at £45.00 for throwing or hand building and a five week course is £200.00.

Unlike competitors muni limits their classes to seven participants, which means that you can get the support you need from the teachers.
