Battersea Park to Southwark Park cycling infrastructure ride

Battersea Park

UNTIL Sunday 20th March

A social ride from Battersea Park to Southwark Park, returning via the City, to enjoy new cycling infrastructure.

About this event

This is the latest in our series of social rides to enjoy new cycling infrastructure.

We will cycle from Battersea Park in Wandsworth to Southwark Park, criss-crossing the River Thames and returning via the City, to check out some of south and central London's cycling infrastructure, especially on and around the bridges.

The ride is 23km with no hills. We will be going slowly, and carefully, taking in the sights alongside some of the new infrastructure.

This is a marshalled ride starting and ending in Battersea park, suitable for all ages and abilities. Meet 10am at Battersea Park, in front of the Peace Pagoda. Return expected by 12:30pm. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).

We must be aware of Covid-19 – so please maintain social distancing during the ride; bring a mask for any indoors stops; and respect each others' risk profiles.

Please do not turn up to this event if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19. The safety of our volunteers and participants is key to us. Please make sure you are following the latest government guidance in regards to Covid-19.

This ride is being put on by Wandsworth Cycling Campaign (WCC), which is part of the London Cycling Campaign (LCC).

We may contact you after the ride to ask you about your experiences and will let you know more ways to sign up to information from Wandsworth Cycling Campaign and the London Cycling Campaign.
