What's on at Battersea Power Station

It's time to stop and smell the roses, daisies and alstroemerias at Battersea Power Station. This Spring join us 1st-16th April 2023 for two jam-packed weeks of family-friendly activities, workshops, games and even a giant flower trail with loads of chances to WIN.

Free Activities 

• We see Alpacas and Sheep and Goats, Oh My! We have partnered with Vauxhall City Farm to create a Mobile Farm in the Power Station Park during the Easter holiday. Come say hi to the animals from 7th to 9th April from 11am to 5pm, no booking required but arrive early to avoid disappointment. Suitable for all ages.

 Move, Spin and Shake with The Wriggle & Scribble 'Power' Illustrated Playground at Malaysia Square near the south entrance of the Power Station. Designer by Anna Bruder at  A Line Art this the playground is for people of all ages to connect and share a moment of play.

• Spring means colours, and what better way to celebrate the new season than getting your face painted with some of our favourites artists? Find them on Upper Ground level on Turbine Hall B south from 1st – 2nd April and 7th – 10th April from 11am to 5pm. No booking required, but arrive early to avoid disappointment. Recommended for kids 3 years and older.

• How about making a new friend? Meet Colin the Caterpillar outside M&S on Electric Boulevard Ground Level on the 7th, 8th and 10th April from 11am to 5pm.

Workshops and Games 

• Grow Your Own Lettuce with the Easter Bunny and our favourite sustainable farmer Sinead from Aweside Farm. Kids can get creative designing their own plant pot before planting a seedling and learning how to take care of them. Recommended for kids 4 years and older. 1st – 3rd April 2023.  Did someone say rides? You can now find a Bungee Trampoline in the Power Station Park and Bumper Car ride inside the Power Station in Turbine Hall B 1st -10th April from 11am to 5pm. Recommended for kids aged 3-12 years. Walk-ins only, £5 per kid.

 Celebrate the Spring Festival Planting Flowers, flowers and more flowers. Aweside Farm is coming to Battersea Power Station to teach us all about flowers and how to care for them, and you even get to design your own plant pot to take home (bonus). Book your tickets here.

• Spring into action with our mini sports day in Power Station Park. From egg and spoon races to sack racing, there is plenty to get involved in. Don't worry if it rains, we have we have other activities suitable for all weather conditions just in case. Recommended for kids 4 years and older. £7.50 tickets if pre-booked, £8.50 for walk-ins. 4th-6th,10th, 14th-16th April. Book your tickets here.

• Snuggle up for Spring story telling and dancing with interactive story telling sessions under the pergola in Power Station Park. Recommended for kids 4 years and older. £7.50 tickets if pre-booked, £8.50 for walk-ins. 11th-16th April. Book your tickets here.

• Get loopy with our family hoola hooping classes, located outside in Power Station Park. Recommended for kids 4 years and older. £7.50 tickets if pre-booked, £8.50 for walk-ins. 11th-13th April. Book your tickets here.

• Get creative with paint pens and design your own bespoke wooden egg cup to take home. Recommended for kids 4 years and older. £7.50 tickets if pre-booked, £8.50 for walk-ins. 6th and 10th April. Book your tickets here.

• Crown your yourselves Spring Royalty and get stuck in creating your own egg-stravagent crown under the pergola in the Power Station Park. Recommended for kids 4 years and older. £7.50 tickets if pre-booked, £8.50 for walk-ins. 4th-5th April. Book your tickets here.
