Violence against women and girls - Battersea Park walk & talk

Your Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team from Lavender Hill are inviting women from the area to join them on patrol around Battersea Park.

The Walk & Talk is part of an effort to address the concerns of women and girls, and their safety across London as well to answer any questions the public might have about how we work and what we can do to improve our work.

The Walk & Talk initiative involves female officers buddying up with women and girls from their communities to go out on patrol in open spaces so that we can hear their experiences, concerns and reflections first-hand.

The aim of the walk is to start a conversation between the public and officers about safety concerns and what police can do, whilst working with partners to address them.

We want Women and Girls to feel safe at all times both in public and private.

If there are times/places that you feel unsafe we want to know and if you have suggestions on how we we can help to make you feel safer in those situations we want to hear.
