Join Blue Badge Tour Guide Chris Van Hayden for this immersive tour of Old Battersea and discover how this small secluded village by the river developed through the centuries.

The walk covers Battersea Square and some of the elegant houses surrounding it and its people, the school, St Mary's church, industry along the river, the bridges, Battersea Park, housing developments, the Battersea Power Station Station and more....

Walk includes a visit to St Mary's church.

Meeting in Battersea Square, 5-10 minutes before tour starts. Duration approx. 2 hrs 30 minutes with a break half-way. Walk ends at Battersea Power Station where you are welcome to join me for drinks at a local venue.

Other walks include, Wandsworth, Barnes/Mortlake, Battersea around Clapham Junction, Putney/Fulham, Chelsea in Cheyne Walk & King's Road.
